Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous therapies with precision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and surgeons.
- Operate and maintain life-support systems, ventilators, and cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Provide critical emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
- Maintain compliance with strict hospital infection control protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (preferred).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure scenarios.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care coordination.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred).
