Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute complex care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical transitions.
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies as required.
- Maintain strictly accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure medical scenarios.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
