Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs, adjust life support equipment, and interpret complex data in real-time.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans.
- Administer advanced medications and therapeutic treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide empathetic support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in clinical orientation and training programs.
- Maintain precise medical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Massachusetts State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional resilience in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern medical instrumentation.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
