Responsibilities
- Provide high-level clinical care to patients with complex, life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Lead the multidisciplinary care team in developing and implementing individualized patient recovery plans.
- Administer advanced pharmacological interventions and monitor hemodynamic stability using cutting-edge telemetry.
- Perform rapid assessments and execute emergency protocols during critical patient status changes.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and clinical observations with 100% accuracy in the EHR system.
- Act as a mentor and clinical resource for junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Communicate empathetically with patient families, providing clear updates and emotional support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in utilizing Epic or similar Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure medical situations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
