Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to oncology patients administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and symptom management
- Lead interdisciplinary care coordination for complex oncology cases
- Mentor junior nursing staff and conduct clinical competency evaluations
- Implement evidence-based practice protocols for oncology care pathways
- Collaborate with oncologists on treatment plans and patient education
- Utilize Epic EHR for documentation and care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies
Qualifications
- BSN degree required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 3 years oncology nursing experience
- Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS/ACLS certification
- Oncology Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environment
