Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-acuity patient care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to develop and implement complex, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Monitor and interpret advanced hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs to make rapid clinical interventions.
- Operate and manage sophisticated life-support equipment including mechanical ventilators and CRRT machines.
- Facilitate comprehensive patient assessments and maintain meticulous documentation within the EHR system.
- Provide empathetic support and clear clinical education to patients and families during high-stress medical situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care setting.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is highly preferred.
- Expertise in pharmacological interventions and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and crisis-management skills.
