Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiovascular conditions in real-time.
- Administer life-saving medications and cardiac treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Interpret advanced telemetry and hemodynamic data to inform clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiologists, surgeons, and therapists.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedural care and long-term heart health management.
- Maintain precise electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with hospital compliance standards.
- Lead emergency response protocols, including BLS and ACLS interventions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) or ICU.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS/CCRN preferred).
- Strong proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
