Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients in a critical care setting.
- Monitor hemodynamic stability and interpret telemetry data in real-time.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Administer cardiac medications and manage post-operative recovery protocols.
- Serve as a mentor to junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Maintain precise medical documentation using Epic EMR systems.
- Lead emergency response interventions, including ACLS protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure medical environments.
- Experience with advanced cardiac life support technologies preferred.
