Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in 24-bed advanced cardiac telemetry unit
- Implement evidence-based clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor nursing staff through clinical supervision and skills workshops
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex patient cases
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Participate in rapid response team activations and emergency interventions
- Lead patient education programs for chronic disease management
Qualifications
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Current Illinois RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years progressive cardiac nursing experience
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and telemetry expertise
- Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement projects
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and clinical documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management abilities
