Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end commercial property acquisition processes from sourcing to closing
- Develop sophisticated financial models (DCF, cap rate analysis) for $50M+ portfolios
- Conduct rigorous market research and competitive analysis across Texas metro areas
- Structure and negotiate complex joint ventures and equity partnerships
- Present investment recommendations to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize portfolio performance metrics
- Stay ahead of regulatory shifts impacting real estate investment vehicles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in commercial real estate investment or investment banking
- Proven track record of closing $30M+ transactions
- Expertise in REITs, private equity, and institutional fund structures
- Advanced proficiency in Argus, Yardi, and Excel modeling
- CCIM or RPA designation strongly preferred
- Deep network of Austin/Texas real estate industry connections
- Exceptional presentation skills for stakeholder communications
