Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end investment process, from initial market research and deal sourcing to closing and asset management.
- Conduct rigorous financial analysis and valuation modeling (DCF, cap rate, IRR) to assess investment viability.
- Identify and negotiate strategic acquisition opportunities in prime Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to inform investment strategies.
- Present investment recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership and investors.
- Oversee property operations and ensure alignment with long-term value creation goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, lenders, and industry partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, development, or asset management.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence tools (e.g., Argus, Excel).
- Deep understanding of the NYC real estate market, including zoning laws and tax implications.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex transactions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data to diverse audiences.
- CFA or MBA designation is a plus.
