Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis for commercial real estate acquisitions
- Perform in-depth market research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities
- Develop detailed investment memos and presentations for executive review
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategic adjustments to maximize returns
- Collaborate with acquisitions team to identify off-market opportunities
- Analyze zoning regulations and development feasibility for mixed-use properties
- Lead cross-functional teams during transaction execution and closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or MSRE preferred
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate investment analysis or acquisitions
- Advanced proficiency in Argus, Excel, and financial modeling software
- Deep knowledge of Chicago metropolitan real estate market dynamics
- Proven track record of successful multi-million dollar transaction execution
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial scenarios
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
- CRE designation or relevant professional certifications preferred
