Based in the heart of the Financial District, you will be responsible for identifying high-yield opportunities, managing complex asset valuations, and optimizing the performance of our commercial real estate holdings. Responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential acquisitions, analyzing market trends, demographics, and comparable sales data to identify viable investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Develop sophisticated financial models (using Argus, Excel, and R) to forecast cash flows, calculate Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and evaluate project feasibility.
- Asset Management: Monitor the performance of existing properties, identify underperforming assets, and formulate strategies to maximize Net Operating Income (NOI) and asset value.
- Deal Structuring: Collaborate with legal and architectural teams to structure complex transactions, including lease negotiations and capital expenditure planning.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports for investors and executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate analysis, investment banking, or asset management.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, Macros) and familiarity with industry software such as Argus Developer, CoStar, or Yardi.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the San Francisco Bay Area real estate market, zoning regulations, and local legislative landscape.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-technical stakeholders.
