Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and financial data to identify profitable real estate investment opportunities
- Perform due diligence on commercial/residential properties including valuation modeling and risk assessment
- Develop comprehensive investment memos and financial projections for executive review
- Collaborate with acquisitions team to structure optimal financing and partnership agreements
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategic adjustments based on market shifts
- Present investment recommendations to senior stakeholders using data visualization tools
- Stay current on NYC zoning laws, tax incentives, and regulatory changes affecting real estate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years experience in real estate investment analysis or commercial brokerage
- Expertise in financial modeling (DCF, cap rate, IRR) and market valuation techniques
- Proficiency in Argus, Yardi, or similar real estate analysis software
- Deep understanding of NYC real estate market dynamics and submarket nuances
- Strong Excel skills with advanced data manipulation capabilities
- Track record of successful property acquisitions exceeding $50M value
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to articulate complex financial concepts
