Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial real estate investments using financial modeling (DCF, IRR, cap rates) and market research
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda and due diligence reports for private equity partners
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in NYC metro area
- Collaborate with acquisitions team to identify high-potential development and repositioning opportunities
- Present investment recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven rationale
- Manage relationships with brokers, appraisers, and legal counsel during transaction processes
- Develop portfolio valuation models and performance tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial real estate investment analysis or brokerage experience
- Proficiency in Argus, Yardi, and advanced Excel modeling (macros, VLOOKUP)
- Deep knowledge of NYC commercial property markets (office, retail, multifamily)
- Strong financial modeling skills with proven ability to underwrite complex deals
- Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to communicate complex data clearly
- Track record of successfully closed transactions valued $10M+
