Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and financial viability of commercial/residential properties using advanced valuation models (DCF, Cap Rate, ROI)
- Develop comprehensive investment memos and due diligence reports for $50M+ portfolios
- Build financial models for acquisition, refinancing, and disposition strategies
- Collaborate with acquisitions team to identify off-market opportunities in prime NYC locations
- Present investment recommendations to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategic adjustments based on market shifts
- Leverage PropTech tools for predictive analytics and market forecasting
Qualifications
- 5+ years in real estate investment analysis or commercial brokerage (NYC market preferred)
- Expertise in financial modeling (Excel, Argus, REIT analysis)
- CFA designation or MBA with real estate concentration strongly preferred
- Proven track record of closing $10M+ transactions
- Deep understanding of NYC zoning laws and development regulations
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to communicate complex data clearly
- Strong network of institutional investors, developers, and capital partners
