Responsibilities
- Analyze complex real estate investments using discounted cash flow models, IRR calculations, and market comparables
- Identify emerging neighborhood trends and investment opportunities in Manhattan's micro-markets
- Develop comprehensive investment memos for $50M+ acquisitions including risk assessments
- Collaborate with acquisitions team on due diligence and negotiation strategies
- Present investment theses to executive committee and external partners
- Monitor portfolio performance using proprietary analytics platform
- Train junior analysts on valuation methodologies and market research techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or quantitative field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years experience in real estate investment or commercial property valuation
- Expert proficiency in Argus, Yardi, and Excel modeling
- CFA or CCIM designation strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of NYC zoning laws and building regulations
- Proven track record of closed deals >$25M
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to simplify complex data
- Portfolio of 3+ successful investment analyses
