Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and financial viability of mixed-use, residential, and commercial real estate developments
- Build sophisticated financial models for acquisitions, development projects, and portfolio optimization
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments including site feasibility studies and competitor analysis
- Present investment recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Manage relationships with developers, municipalities, and capital partners
- Lead cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and legal specialists
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify strategic optimization opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA designation preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in real estate investment analysis or commercial real estate
- Advanced proficiency in Argus, Excel, and financial modeling software
- Deep understanding of Toronto/GTA real estate market dynamics and regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of successful commercial property transactions (>$50M+)
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills with executive stakeholders
- Professional designation (CFA, CCIM, or RICS) strongly preferred
- Valid Ontario Real Estate License
