Responsibilities
- Lead Deal Origination: Identify, evaluate, and secure high-potential real estate opportunities through market research and networking.
- Financial Mastery: Develop and manage complex financial models, including pro formas, cash flow analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, lenders, government officials, and construction partners.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the entire development lifecycle from site acquisition and entitlements to construction management and lease-up.
- Market Analysis: Monitor economic trends, zoning regulations, and demographic shifts to inform strategic decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal building codes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, acquisition, or property management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Licensure: Active New York Real Estate Salesperson or Broker license required.
- Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and investment analysis software (e.g., Argus, Excel).
