We are looking for a strategic and visionary Senior Real Estate Developer to join our elite team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development of high-value commercial and mixed-use properties, ensuring our projects not only meet but exceed market standards for sustainability and profitability.
As a leader in our organization, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution, managing complex development cycles from feasibility studies to final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle, including acquisition, entitlements, financing, construction, and leasing.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and financial analysis to identify high-potential investment opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and legal counsel, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and government officials to secure necessary approvals and permits.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local zoning laws, building codes, and sustainability standards (LEED certification).
- Prepare detailed budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances to ensure profitability.
- Drive the strategic vision for the company's expansion into emerging neighborhoods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering commercial or residential projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and investment underwriting.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead diverse teams.
- Familiarity with local San Francisco development regulations and permitting processes.
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines and budget constraints.
