The Opportunity: You will be the driving force behind the acquisition, financing, and construction of multi-million dollar developments. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels at navigating complex regulatory environments while delivering high-quality assets on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee the entire real estate development lifecycle, including site acquisition, feasibility studies, entitlements, and construction management.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage complex financial models, including pro formas, cash flow analysis, and capital structure optimization.
- Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, lenders, investors, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Strategic Planning: Identify high-potential market opportunities and formulate business strategies to capitalize on them.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local zoning laws, building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Team Management: Mentor and lead a cross-functional team of development professionals and external consultants.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA or MRED) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, project management, or commercial construction.
- Track Record: Proven history of successfully delivering large-scale commercial or residential projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of real estate finance, market analysis, and LEED certification processes.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
