Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify high-potential investment opportunities in the NYC metro area.
- Develop complex financial models for acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing scenarios using Excel and specialized software.
- Prepare comprehensive investment memos and quarterly reports for executive stakeholders and investment committees.
- Monitor economic indicators, regulatory changes, and zoning laws affecting the local real estate landscape.
- Collaborate with property management teams to optimize operational performance and drive asset value growth.
- Perform due diligence on potential acquisitions, including title review, physical inspections, and rent roll analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in commercial real estate analysis or investment banking within a major metropolitan market.
- Proficiency in financial modeling (Advanced Excel), ARGUS, Yardi, or MRI.
- Strong understanding of CRE markets, underwriting standards, and capitalization rates.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
