Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and competitive landscapes in the Bay Area.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models for underwriting acquisitions, dispositions, and value-add projects.
- Asset Management: Monitor asset performance, prepare quarterly investor reports, and recommend strategies to enhance Net Operating Income (NOI) and asset value.
- Acquisition Support: Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of potential investment targets, including site visits and due diligence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and investment thesis to internal stakeholders and external investors with precision and clarity.
- Compliance: Ensure all investment activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate analysis, investment banking, or real estate consulting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Argus, Stessa, or similar valuation software; advanced Excel skills including VBA and macros.
- Analytical Ability: Strong ability to interpret market data, forecast trends, and perform sensitivity analysis.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Licensure: California Real Estate License is a plus.
