Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D projects from conceptualization to prototyping and validation
- Design and execute rigorous experiments in materials science and computational modeling
- Develop innovative solutions using AI/ML algorithms for product optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
- Document research findings and publish in peer-reviewed journals or industry conferences
- Secure intellectual property through patents and protect company innovations
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on R&D experience in industrial or academic research
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL)
- Strong programming skills in Python/MATLAB for data analysis and modeling
- Track record of published research or patented technologies
- Expertise in advanced material characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, XRD)
- Experience with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping
