Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum proofs into practical implementations
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
- Collaborate with MIT/Harvard on quantum materials research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq) experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or ion traps
