Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional research projects spanning quantum physics, computer science, and materials engineering
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative innovation within our quantum ecosystem
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into viable commercial quantum computing solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related computational field with 5+ years post-graduate research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields (Nature/Science/IEEE journals)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated experience with quantum annealing systems or superconducting qubit platforms
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex multi-variable quantum systems
- Ability to secure external research funding through NSF/DOE/NIH grants
