Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and trading algorithms to maximize portfolio returns and minimize risk exposure.
- Perform rigorous back-testing of trading strategies using historical market data to validate efficacy.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify market trends, anomalies, and arbitrage opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and traders to translate theoretical models into executable trading strategies.
- Present complex quantitative findings and model projections to executive leadership and stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Stay abreast of emerging financial technologies and academic research to continuously improve our modeling methodologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis, risk management, or financial modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or SQL, with strong expertise in libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of stochastic calculus, time-series analysis, and statistical inference.
- CFA or FRM certification is a significant plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
