Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
  • Lead internal audits and coordinate external food safety audits to ensure regulatory compliance across all production facilities.
  • Develop and execute rigorous supplier qualification and auditing processes to guarantee raw material integrity.
  • Investigate and manage product recalls or customer complaints, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Mentor a team of quality assurance specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.
  • Analyze production data to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall product consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Deep knowledge of UK and EU food safety regulations, including FSA standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
