Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust end-to-end automation frameworks using Cypress or Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Execute complex integration, regression, and performance testing cycles.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using Jira.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for testing best practices across the engineering department.
- Perform comprehensive API testing to ensure reliable data flow between microservices.
- Participate in sprint planning and design reviews to shift testing 'left'.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related engineering role.
- Proven proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with rapid release cycles.
- Strong grasp of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or Insomnia.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for distributed testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
