Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS GovCloud.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure Zero Trust architecture compliance.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the delivery of citizen-facing digital services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive scaling strategies.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for high-priority outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and systems engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP within a public sector environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong understanding of FedRAMP compliance and government security standards.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
