Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing for cloud-native applications
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and TestComplete to accelerate testing cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Implement defect management strategies using JIRA and ALM to drive resolution efficiency
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures
- Mentor QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline optimization
- Document test artifacts and maintain quality metrics dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and scripting (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Proven ability to design test data strategies for complex systems
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with zero-defect mindset
