Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and custom test frameworks
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define quality KPIs and test metrics
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion continuous improvement in QA processes
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated test execution and reporting
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and drive systemic quality improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 2+ years in senior/lead roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA-based workflows
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Proven track record of reducing defect escape rates by 30%+
