Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Jest
- Lead end-to-end testing cycles for web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
- Execute exploratory testing and document defects with detailed steps in JIRA
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 2+ years in automated testing
- Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD integration
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and TDD/BDD
- Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java) for test scripting
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with mobile testing (Appium, Espresso) and cross-browser compatibility
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
