Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Jenkins CI/CD
- Lead end-to-end testing strategies for complex web/mobile applications across multiple platforms
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with engineering teams to prevent recurrence
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and documentation for new features
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality-first engineering practices
- Integrate performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Implement and maintain test metrics dashboards for continuous quality monitoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with proven expertise in Selenium/Cypress
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, and JavaScript for test scripting
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or equivalent quality assurance certification
- Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications and microservices architectures
- Expertise in defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps) and test management tools
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
