Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, performance, security, and user experience aspects
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect lifecycle management in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline optimization
- Conduct cross-browser/device compatibility testing and regression validation
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality metrics for product releases
- Collaborate with product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in SaaS or high-growth tech environments
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Java/Python/C#) and CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with mobile testing (Appium, Espresso) and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance framework
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
