Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes in JIRA, ensuring rigorous tracking and resolution
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents to drive systemic quality improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for continuous testing
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated quality gates
- Generate actionable quality metrics and dashboards for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 3+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, and test frameworks (PyTest, TestNG)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and REST API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proven track record of defining test strategies for complex web applications
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Experience mentoring QA teams and fostering quality culture
