Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, performance, and security aspects
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate testing cycles and ensure comprehensive coverage
- Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms using industry-standard tools like JIRA and TestRail
- Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of defects and drive continuous quality improvements
- Establish and enforce quality gates within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices in quality engineering
- Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders on product quality status
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and industry standards (ISO 9001, ISTQB)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- Certification in Quality Engineering or Software Testing preferred
