Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Python to accelerate validation cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement test-driven development methodologies
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing across 15+ environments
- Analyze test metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend quality improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with SaaS/web applications
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into test cases and scenarios
