Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define detailed test strategies for new features.
- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Lead root cause analysis sessions to identify and resolve systemic defects in the development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote best practices in software testing methodologies.
- Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve testing speed and deployment reliability.
- Manage defect tracking systems and provide actionable insights through data-driven reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software QA or automated testing roles.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter/K6).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for quality throughout the organization.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
