Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright for web and mobile applications
- Implement CI/CD pipeline testing strategies with Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and prioritize resolution based on risk analysis
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability evaluations to identify edge cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases and bug reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in testing web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and mobile platforms
- Proficiency with testing tools: Postman, JIRA, Selenium, and Cypress
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) preferred
- Certification (ISTQB, CSTE) or equivalent professional development
