Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for complex web and mobile applications using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define comprehensive test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute rigorous regression, integration, and performance testing cycles across multiple environments.
- Identify, document, and track software defects within Jira, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders for rapid resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of 'Quality First' throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Analyze system requirements to identify potential bottlenecks and edge cases before code deployment.
- Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the deployment flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of automation testing.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Deep understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, K6).
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment with familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex system integrations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to cross-functional teams.
