Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust, scalable automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define comprehensive test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct deep-dive manual exploratory testing to identify edge cases and complex UI/UX flaws.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production issues and drive preventative improvements.
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration to ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the deployment cycle.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and testing methodologies.
- Participate in design reviews to advocate for testability and quality from the inception of new features.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proven expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholder requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
