In this role, you will lead our testing strategy, implement cutting-edge automation frameworks, and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver world-class software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium or Cypress.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts for complex production incidents and facilitate timely resolution.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data strategies to support product releases.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine acceptance criteria and ensure shift-left testing practices.
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement in testing methodologies.
- Execute performance and load testing to ensure system scalability under heavy traffic.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated quality checks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test automation development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Proficiency with modern CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on user-centric quality.
- Strong communication skills, capable of influencing technical decisions across distributed teams.
