Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate testing workflows using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-leading CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis methodologies
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and test requirements
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability evaluations to identify edge cases
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing with 3+ years in automation
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA lifecycle
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar quality assurance frameworks preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with complex systems
