Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for core banking applications
- Automate test suites using Selenium/Cypress while maintaining 95%+ test coverage
- Lead defect management processes in JIRA, ensuring 99.9% critical bug resolution rate
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration with automated testing workflows
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for test scripts
- Analyze test metrics to identify improvement opportunities in QA processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology
- Experience with SQL and database validation techniques
