Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate testing cycles
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes through CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document defects with detailed reproduction steps and severity metrics in JIRA
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test case management
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify quality risks early in SDLC
- Analyze test data to provide actionable insights for product enhancement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC with 3+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed test cases
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
