Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation framework development using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate testing cycles
- Execute exploratory testing and root cause analysis to identify critical defects
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality metrics for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define acceptance criteria
- Conduct API and security testing to ensure system integrity
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript) and SQL
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
