Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for financial applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API and integration testing using Postman and REST-assured
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for continuous testing
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and drive quality improvements
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish testing standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with focus on fintech or financial applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and mobile testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems (JIRA)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credential preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial systems
