You will play a pivotal role in designing automated frameworks that move at the speed of our deployment pipeline, ensuring that our cutting-edge SaaS solutions remain stable, scalable, and secure as we rapidly iterate.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Conduct thorough root-cause analysis of defects to prevent regressions and improve system architecture.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and DevOps engineers to integrate QA gates within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Execute complex integration, performance, and security testing cycles for high-traffic web applications.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in test-driven development and documentation.
- Manage end-to-end testing lifecycles for critical product releases in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test automation scripting.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for finding 'edge cases'.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
