Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex feature releases.
- Lead the transition to an automated testing architecture using modern frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production defects to improve system stability.
- Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams to integrate quality gates early in the SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and test coverage strategies.
- Manage end-to-end integration testing for third-party API dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement of the QA infrastructure to reduce regression cycle times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI).
- Proven experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Strong background in database testing and SQL optimization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across the engineering team.
